FoxFury lit up the Night To Shine event at Vista, CA. Night to Shine is a Prom night experience for special needs individuals, ages 14 and above. Those individuals are called honored guests and are all crowned Kings and Queens at the end of the event. Over 500 US and 60 international locations hosted this event that gives thousands of honored guests a night to truly shine and have a great time.
Night to Shine is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and the Vista event was hosted by North Coast Church. 2023 was the first year where the event was held in person since 2020 where there were no gathering restrictions. The Vista event was 1 of 2 events in San Diego County and drew over 245 honored guests with 400+ volunteers assisting in a number of ways.
The event packed a great deal of fun in 3.5 hours. In addition to dinner and dancing, the Vista event had a number of other activities for guests including:
“Night to Shine is such a unique event. The overwhelming joy and fun experienced by all isn’t possible without the incredible numbers of volunteers and support from the community. We’re thrilled to be able to add a little shine to make the Red Carpet Walk that much more memorable and the overall event a little safer for all. We’re thrilled to have supported this event a second time here in our home town,”
Antonio Cugini, Director of Business Development of FoxFury.
FoxFury assisted at the 2020 event with 2 volunteers. With this year event being bigger and more involved, FoxFury sent 3 volunteers who delivered and set up lighting to enhance the overall experience and increase the safety of the event.
FoxFury brought its cordless Nomad lights to enhance the outdoor activities. Being independently powered, the light lights required no generators or cables which could present obstacles and trip hazards for guests. The FoxFury team also helped creatively capture some of the fun from the event. The picture below shows a 360 degree view of the red carpet.
"We’re thrilled with the event and are grateful to the hard work put in by the Marcia and the planning team, the North Coast staff and different companies and organizations who made the night what it was. Thanks to El Camino High School’s Cheerleading Squad, the Disney and Star Wars actors, the Vista Fire Department, the alpacas, limos, and hundreds of buddies and volunteers who supported the event. Every interaction made it a memorable night for the honored guests. I was glad to be here for the first time,”
Maria Cugini, Vice President of FoxFury
