COMMAND
20 FIRE HELMET LIGHT |
Command
20 Fire
The head lamp is working great, I
have had the opportunity to use it in extensively in suppression
duties as well as several MVA related calls.
Our Rescue
Driver at the station purchased a Command 20 also, whenever
we show up at drill people want to check out the lights, most
are impressed with its intense discharge and all are impressed
with the safety light on the battery pack.
The light sits
evenly on the helmet (as opposed to my old light which gave a
slight tilt to the helmet as it was just a flashlight with a
mount), its 3 discharge settings are great, because the only
complaint I have heard is that its too bright! Thanks again
for making such a great product!

20 Fire
On 2/11/08 @ 12:45 am, we got a call on a structure fire
on Washington street and it was fully involved. When we got
there they were right, it was so hot, we had to wet down both
sides of the house to keep it from lighting up. When it was
over no one was hurt.
During overhauling no one had a light with
them, my Lt. said ask Dennis for his light--they all knew that
I always have some kind of new lights or tool. I turned it on
and they were amazed at how bright it was and asked me where
I got it. I said that I got it from FoxFury and then I told them
that I will retire in 6 1/2 years and still have a great light
after I'm gone. Thank you.
P.S. A couple of the guys ordered a few for the job.

I
first saw
your company at a trade show in San Diego about 5 years
ago, and bought one of the first headlamp models that had came
out. Ever since, I have had lots of comments on its design and
function. I recently bought another new headlamp after the Command
series
was released.
I believe FoxFury has the best designs
and functions of any other model on the market, and I have come
to depend on them and use them regularly. Thanks again
for your products.
Thanks and here is a recent

20 Fire
I used the command 20 lights in a couple of
structure fires we had. The light worked great. I have never
had a light on my helmet before so I don't have anything to compare
it to. I was able to see through some pretty thick smoke
about 12-24 inches in front of me. I was stoked. Thanks.

Fire Light
Well, I have had the light on my helmet for a
little over a month now...and it is awesome. To have light right where
I am looking without having to direct a handheld light or one
that is hanging on my coat is great. I have since removed
the right angle light that I have always had on my coat which
makes my coat much lighter and less bulky. It is easier
to crawl and carry other tools now.
I decided to write to you now because I have
now had a chance to use it in an interior search in a two-story
single family house fire with reports or two children still
inside. My
officer on the truck has another FoxFury model on his helmet,
so we both were able to keep track of each other from a greater
distance than normal, because of the amount of light that it puts
out.
Visibility was zero because of the heavy smoke
and heat, but the light held up to heat that eventually drove
us out of the bedroom and down stairs. It was unbelievably
hot! The
light lens was blackened, but cleaned up with some soap and water.
I am extremely happy with my light and have had several people
say they were going to look into one now that they have seen
me and my officer both using them.
Thanks for the greatest light I've used. Kim

I absolutely love my FoxFury.
I work on a full time dept. in a suburb of Toledo. We work 12
hour shifts 3 on 3 off. I work from 19:00
hrs till 07:00 hrs so
I have alot of
opportunity to use it in a
lot of
different capacities. I use it on injury accidents and it basically
lights up the whole car I'm working on, it's great
for extrication, I don't have to wait for someone to set up the
light's from
the truck or if they are set up I don't have to wait for them
to be adjusted or not reaching the car.
I am also an instructor so I use it a
lot in
training fires, I am easily able to keep track of students in the
thick smoke, the only downfall is I often have to turn it off because
it helps the students out to much in finding the victim we have
them searching for, so I turn it off until they have completed
their task's. A
lot of
the guys I work with love it except when I'm not thinking and look
at them and blind them with it on.
I find myself using the light all the time, it's much
better than the hand held Big Ed I have. I don't have to worry
about it flopping around on my fire
coat and not pointing where I want
to look or getting tangled up with my air
pack.
Thanks for the great light and it's nice
to see a company that is proactive in finding out the results
of their product. It's a
very functional light and works great in many applications.

Fire
The FoxFury Performance Fire headlamp has been a tremendous
asset when
conducting fire calls during evening hours; especially fire calls
involving vehicle accidents. Although I can't show you photos
from actual on scene emergencies, I can definitely state that
having
extra lighting while utilizing hand tools at night made my job
performance more effective.
More importantly, a hands-free tool.
Most firefighters wedge a hand-held flashlight into their armpit
or
have someone else hold a flashlight while they work.
As you can
see
in this photo, everything that I work around in front of me
is
illuminated, bright and visible as I perform extrication during
a
training drill. What I've noticed as a safety precaution when
out on
a vehicle accident during the late evenings is that I am visible
to
oncoming drivers on the roads and highways.
I am very pleased
and
satisfied with your product. Thank you for allowing me an
opportunity to show-off your product and how effective this fire
tool
can be while out on fire calls.

The FoxFury Performance
Fire Fighter Version Headlamp is working just great! It's had
a lot of use
over the last year. The first time it was used on a structure
fire last year, I got a lot of compliments
on it. I was also told I better keep eyes on it, for it might
sprout legs and move to another locker, if I
wasn't careful. I've given a few of my guys your website, so
they can explore their options.
So far it's held up through extreme heat and cold.
And still lights up an area without any problems. Thanks for producing
a Wonderful Light that can hold
up what we firefighters can put it through.

The light has been great, I
have been in some fires with it and it does cut the smoke so
you can see better. The other firefighters are always asking
about it, but some say it is expensive. I tell them that if they
want to see inside it is worth the money, not only in fires but
on EMS scenes at night.

I enjoy the light very much. It makes a big difference in being
able to see and not being able to see. I really
like the fact that where ever I look I can see verses having to
stop and use my hands to point a light in a certain direction.
It makes it much easier to work inside a Structure Fire, at an
MVC during the night or Medical calls when needed.
Just recently
I worked an MVC where a driver had ran from the scene and laid
down in the woods where there was no lighting. While treating
this patient I had accidentally turned the light off and then
I couldn't see as good, even with other flash lights around.
I have received
several comments about it and heard several people say they were
interested in getting one.
I have attached a picture of me at a structure fire with my light
on. I was very impressed when I saw this picture myself. Thanks, Joshua Lane

I put the FoxFury light (Performance
Fire) on my helmet when we got back from San Diego. One week
ago, we did have a fire that I was able to use it on. It did
cut through the smoke and fog really well. I liked the broad
beam on it. I have decided that it is the best headlamp I have
ever purchased. So far, I feel that I have really gotten my
money's worth out of it. Chris

One of our team members recently came back from
a Haz Mat trade show in Las Vegas with the Scout model pocket/
hand light. We have used it many times on calls, and have
found it to be the perfect size, weight, and brightness for
all emergency and non emergency activities. We all
love it. I believe it would be the perfect compliment to
my headlamp and personal illumination.

I've used it on many different fires, rescues and
training scenarios, it has performed very well in all. In fact,
I'm quite popular during the salvage and overhaul phase, people
unintentionally gather around me while we're working (people
naturally gather around a more completely lit area). Jeff

We
had a big 30 acre brush fire Saturday night out here. My guys
were with CDF at the top of this 4WD goat trail. All the CDF
guys had only little penlight helmet lamps on their heads.
My guys broke out their FoxFury lamps and…..God, It was
like having lighthouses on that rocky hilltop. All the CDF
boys huddled around my four guys and used them as guides around
the fire-line. All the State CDF guys thought they were awesome.
We stayed on that dangerous hilltop till midnight (6 hours) putting
it out. They all asked the name of the lights; we told them and
that they were out of Vista. Thanks for making such a good product
and keeping us safe. This was just the incident I had envisioned
for its successful use.

I used these on a Search & Rescue training

as more team members are exposed to them in the future, they
will jump on board and buy a set.

Intrinsic Fire
About a week after recieveing my Signature Series
Instrinsic
Fire light we recieved a smoke in structure call. When we
entered the
structure, smoke had consumed the entire stucture. The 90
degree light had a very minimal effect on the conditions
present.
Once I turned on my Foxfury
light, everyone inside with me was amazed at the light that
was produced in those conditions. Also visibility was greatly
increased. About a week after that we were first due on a
structure fire.
Being the first inside putting
water
on the fire, my light held through the immense heat. The
light broke
through the smoke again and increased visibility. It did
not malfunction when
embers landed on it. I am very pleased with this light. As
a former soldier in
the Army, I always want the best equipment. Thanks.

AND TX-3 UTILITY LIGHTS |
TX-2
and TX-3
I have several models of the
Fox Fury lights, and I love them all.
The TX-3 and TX-2 lights work very well as small
task lights, clipping them to pack and equipment straps, and
I even have one attached to my motorcycle helmet (a great way
to see my way around the bike in a dark parking lot). The lights
that I use most often are
the Performance Fire Fighter Headlamp, and the Pro III Fire-Tac
Headlamp. Both of these lights have proven to be extremely bright,
very reliable and durable.
I have tried many different brands and styles
of headlamps
and task lights. Of all that I have tried, the Fox Furyline
has without a doubt been the most useful and practical,
and worth the extra cost as compared to other brands offering
far less quality.
